PORTRAITURE WITH PASTELS – CHIAROSCURO TECHNIQUE:
TWO DAY WORKSHOP
February 24 and March 9 - 2008

Teacher: Rodney Swansborough
Artist Rodney Swansborough, from the “Upstairs Art” Studio and Gallery at Murrurundi, will bring his unique talent to a portraiture workshop over two Sundays in Gunnedah. Using the chiaroscuro technique (chalk and charcoal) to produce light and shade on brown paper, canvas and mdf board – Rodney will teach you how to create a portrait, which you may then work on for two weeks before returning to the second workshop for more expert guidance and finishing touches.
Workshops One:
24 Feb and 9 March, 10.00am – 4.00pm.
Workshops Two:
6th April and 20th April, 10.00am - 4.00pm
Venue: Creative Arts Gallery Studio, Chandos Street, Gunnedah. New South Wales
Cost: $120 covers both days, all materials.
